Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey en Tayme Thapthimthong voegen zich bij de cast van het derde deel van de Emmy-winnende HBO Original-serie THE WHITE LOTUS, van Mike White, naast het eerder aangekondigde terugkerende castlid Natasha Rothwell. De serie begint in februari met de productie in en rond Koh Samui, Phuket en Bangkok en volgt een nieuwe groep gasten in een ander White Lotus-hotel.
HBO werkt samen met de Tourism Authority of Thailand om het filmen en promoten van de derde aflevering te ondersteunen.

Awards: Het eerste seizoen, dat in juli 2021 in première ging en zich afspeelde in Hawaï, ontving twintig Emmy-nominaties in dertien categorieën en tien Emmy-awards, de meeste van alle series dat jaar, inclusief Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series. Het tweede seizoen, dat in december 2022 in première ging, speelde zich af op Sicilië en leverde 23 Emmy-nominaties op, waaronder Outstanding Drama Series.
