Killer Instinct krijgt verbeterde matchmagking en 4K ondersteuning later dit jaar

Bandai Namco has officially confirmed more than a dozen characters for the roster of Tekken 8, although in recent days, more potential fighters have come to light thanks to leaks. To begin with, players were able to use Cheat Engine to delve into the game’s recent Closed Network Test, spilling the beans on six unannounced characters. Now, it appears that Bandai Namco itself has accidentally revealed a couple of fighters ahead of schedule.

As spotted by a user on Reddit, Bandai Namco Europe recently published updates on its website confirming Raven and Azucena for Tekken 8’s roster, before promptly removing those updates. The former was also one of the previously mentioned six leaked characters.

While Azucena appears to be a new addition to the series (alongside Jack-8), Raven is, of course, a character familiar to Tekken fans. First introduced in Tekken 5, Raven returned in Tekken 6, but was absent from the roster of Tekken 7.

How long it will take for Bandai Namco to officially unveil the duo remains to be seen, but we are closely monitoring all updates, so stay tuned.

Tekken 8 is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and is scheduled to be released sometime before April 2024.
