De 27e jaarlijkse D.I.C.E. Awards staan binnenkort op de agenda, waar een panel van professionals uit de game-ontwikkelingsindustrie zal benadrukken wat zij beschouwden als de beste games van 2023 in 23 verschillende categorieën. En een maand voor de prijzenceremonie heeft de Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) de volledige lijst met genomineerden onthuld.
In totaal zijn 56 spellen genomineerd in alle categorieën, waarbij Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 de leiding heeft met in totaal negen nominaties. Het wordt gevolgd door Alan Wake 2 met acht nominaties, Baldur’s Gate 3 met zeven en Cocoon met zes. Alle vier zijn ook genomineerd voor de categorie Game of the Year, samen met The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, dat in totaal in vijf categorieën is genomineerd.
De 27e jaarlijkse D.I.C.E. Awards staan gepland voor 15 februari en zullen worden gepresenteerd door Greg Miller van Kinda Funny en Stella Chung van IGN. Blijf op de hoogte voor updates over welke spellen als grote winnaars uit de ceremonie zullen komen.
