Paradox Interactive heeft laten weten dat Cities: Skylines al meer dan twee miljoen keer is verkocht. De game is nu een jaar geleden uitgebracht en heeft in rap tempo de harten veroverd. Om dit te vieren komt Paradox later met wat gratis content, tevens is er een video uitgebracht.
