The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt patch 1.09 is onderweg en beloofd grote veranderingen.

CD Projekt Red community lead Marcin Momot kwam op het officiele forum om te reageren op vragen die er gesteld werden. “The patch is on the way,” antwoorde hij. “Was just looking at the changelog and it looks really impressive – the list of changes is massive. The update will bring a lot of fixes and improvements including PS4 performance (as well as other platforms) plus many more.”

Patch 1.08 werd in juli uitgebracht en bracht al aardig wat verbeteringen naar de game.
