Streets of Rage 4 nadert zijn derde verjaardag, maar het lijkt erop dat Dotemu nog lang niet klaar is met het spel. De ontwikkelaar heeft een enorme nieuwe gratis update uitgebracht voor de geprezen brawler die meer dan 300 verbeteringen aan de ervaring brengt, waaronder enkele belangrijke nieuwe toevoegingen, samen met tal van meer gedetailleerde.
Een van de belangrijkste nieuwe toevoegingen is een nieuwe aangepaste Survival-modus, waarmee spelers de modus kunnen betreden en de ervaring naar hun wens kunnen aanpassen met verschillende opties. Ondertussen zijn er ook verschillende nieuwe coöp-aanvallen toegevoegd voor degenen die het spel graag samen met vrienden spelen, terwijl vrijwel elk speelbaar personage in de uitgebreide selectie van het spel ook tweaks en balansveranderingen heeft ontvangen. Aanpassingen zijn ook gemaakt aan sommige van de stages, eindbaasgevechten en de Mania+ moeilijkheidsgraad. Bekijk de volledige patchnotities hieronder.
