Wij van That’s Gaming waren donderdag aanwezig bij de persconferentie van Gamescom, deze werd verzorgd door de project manager Tim Endres.
Gamescom 2015 gooit de deuren open vanaf 5 augustus tot en met 9 augustus, om daarna af te sluiten met het gamescom festival. Vorig jaar bezochten 335.000 mensen de beurs afkomstig uit 88 landen. De beurs is al jaren een groot succes met stijgende bezoekers en exposanten. Dit jaar gaat men uitbreiden met liefst 10%, wat inhoudt dat de business area zal plaats vinden in hal 2, 3.2, en 4. En de entertainment area zoals je hem ken wordt uitgebreid met 1 hal, hal 5.1.
Dit jaar komt er tevens een speciale hoek in hal 10 genaamd “Family and Friends, deze hoek wordt ingericht voor kinderen tussen 7 en 11 jaar. Men kan speciale family tickets online kopen zolang de voorraad strekt.
