Evolve maakt zich op voor de lancering in 2015 nu de ‘Big Alpha’ erop zit. De game zal de beschikking hebben over DLC maps, en Turtle Rock Studios creative director Phil Robb liet weten dat deze maps voor iedereen gratis beschikbaar worden.

“One of the things that we’ve been real careful to stress is that our DLC plans, we approached it as consumers,” vertelde Robb aan IGN. “First thing we said is, we can’t break the community up outright, so all of our maps will be free. We would never want anyone to get booted off of a server because they haven’t bought something. That sucks.”
