Nintendo Switch krijgt er misschien wel concurrentie bij, de Sony “Playman,” volgens de geruchten van Curved/labs. Het bedrijf staat bekend om hun gedetailleerde concept designs en komen nu met een soort Playstation Switch.
De Nintendo Switch is een groot succes vanaf de lancering in maart, het blijft fans binnen halen en positieve feedback genereren. Het begint nu ook grote games te krijgen.
Maar, Curved/labs onthulde een concurrent voor de Switch.
De nieuwe telg is even getiteld de Sony Playman, Curved.de heeft fans flink wat concept art en zelfs een video gegeven.
Blijkbaar koos het bedrijf om een concept Playstation Switch te maken aangezien Sony al een geschiedenis heeft in portable deices.
Voor microsoft zou het namelijk al moeilijker zijn om iets te maken aangezien die vol richting op de Scorpio.

In de desgins kan je zien dat de Playman veel vergelijkingen heeft met de Nintendo Switch. Volgens rapporten heeft de handheld van Sony vveel overeenkomsten met de laatste console van Nintendo.
Evenals de Switch zal de playman optie bieden aan genoeg speelopties.
Maar, de Playstation Switch heeft wel wat voordelen.
“The Playman won’t be used in just two modes – handheld or TV docking station – but offers three possible fields of use. The device can either be connected to the TV via HDMI, with attached controllers, be used as a handheld console. But furthermore a large, fully adjustable and above all robust joint allows for a comfortable solution to play while being out and about, without having to suffer from tired arms from holding up the weight of the whole handheld console.”
Check de controllers, deze hebben veel overeenkomsten, ook deze kunnen op de console geschoven worden.
“The Sony Dualshock controllers can be mounted on the side of the chassis, but can be attached to the rear of the unit. In order to work, the center would have to be removed from the touchpad. The controllers’ functions resemble those of Sony’s regular dualshock controllers.”
“Games would run through an internal battery and with a lower frame rate, when played on the road. USB ports on the back of the device cannot be used for the controllers to be recharged, but can also supply the gadget with the power of attached rechargeable battery packs.”
