Mooi nieuws van Oculus, ze lanceren Rooms en Parties voor Gear VR. Oorspronkelijk aangekondigd tijdens OC3, Rooms en Parties maken de VR sociaal over het gehele Oculus platform. Hieronder wat meer deatils over de features zoals beschreven op de site.
- Oculus Parties allows you and up to three friends join a VR voice call. Parties ensure that no matter where you go on the platform, you can always communicate with your friends. Chatting in Parties is a new way to connect and build on the sense of presence that makes VR so unique.
- Oculus Rooms is a private virtual space to spend time with friends in VR. After first joining a party, you can join a room with friends and choose what you’d like to do, such as gather around the TV and watch Facebook videos, play matching or guessing games, or hit the group app launcher to jump to a multiplayer game like Dragon Front or Drop Dead.
